Kimberly Jackson was born in Chester County, PA, in December 1988. She graduated Pennsylvania College of Art and Design in 2011 with her BFA . She has shown her artwork in galleries such as, Forth Worth Community Arts Center, RAW artists of Philadelphia and Miner Street Gallery. She has worked with young children as a teaching assistant at Chester County Art Association, a preschool art teacher at Chesterbrook Academy, and an art club teacher at A Child's Place in West Chester PA .
Her natural and organic style stems from many environmental inspirations such as caves, barnacles, fungi and the ocean. Kim pushes herself to learn the science behind the natural objects she is depicting in her artwork, so she can educate others and encourage environmental preservation and recycling.
